Delivery policy
Re-scribe is a digital service. Nothing is shipped. There is no shipping charge and no physical delivery.
1. How you receive your files
When a job finishes, the files appear in your project in the Re-scribe app at rescribe.asanga.ai. You sign in and download them.
2. What you can download
Depending on the job, you get some or all of these:
- Audio description: the AD audio track (WAV or MP3), a mix of the programme with the AD, and optionally an MP4 with the mix added; the AD script as SRT, VTT and JSON.
- Closed captions: SRT, VTT and TTML files.
- QC report: a list of items flagged for your attention.
Today that means captions as SRT, WebVTT and TTML; the AD script as SRT and WebVTT; the AD track and the AD mix as audio files; an MP4 with the AD mixed in, when you ask for one; and a QC report. Formats may be added as the product improves.
3. How long it takes
Time depends on the length of the programme, the tier and how busy the system is. A one-minute clip usually finishes in a few minutes; a full episode takes longer. You can see the status of each job in the app. We do not promise a fixed time unless we agree one in writing.
4. How long files stay available
Output stays in your account until you delete it or close your account. Source files are deleted earlier. See the retention table in the Privacy Policy. Please download and keep your own copy of anything important.
5. If something is wrong
If a file is missing, will not open or looks corrupt, tell us within 7 days. See Cancellation & Refunds and Contact us.
